Stuffed Crust Pizza

Stuffed crust pizza is one of the most popular kinds of pizza ordered from pizza takeaway outlets but it is also quite simple to make your own cheese stuffed crust pizza. You need to make the crust from scratch and then top the homemade pizza base with sausage, tomato, cheese, bell pepper, and mushrooms.

Garlic and oregano add flavor. You can change some of the ingredients if you like, perhaps adding some corn or pineapple chunks for a different taste. This is a very special pizza and one that the whole family will love for sure. It is great served piping hot but also nice served cold as a snack the following day if you have some left over.

A lot of people will head to a pizza restaurant to sample their first stuffed crust pizza instead of trying their own version of the dish, and perhaps even head back there a second time for their second try. Instead of doing that though, why not make your own? It really is easier than you might have believed.

All you need to do is roll the dough out so it overlaps the sides of your pizza pan, then you can add string cheese and roll the dough up around it. The result will be the same as the stuffed crust pizza you can get in a pizza restaurant – even better probably! This adds a brand new twist to homemade pizza. Even if you still want to use your favorite crust and toppings, making a stuffed crust adds something extra special to the overall dish.
